Here is an absolutely stunning 1967 Chevy Camaro RS. Call it what you want… resto-mod… pro-touring… it doesn't really matter. The fact is that it is bad-ass.
This car started its life as an RS Camaro, so it has a rich heritage behind it, and actually could be converted back to an RS quite easily. Although it was very well taken care of throughout its life… the current owner felt the car would be much more fun if he built it to what you see here. Boy was he right!
This is an exceptionally clean car that has the power to back up the looks. Take a look at all the professional modifications that have been done:
- Scott Shafiroff 540 ci UltraStreet V8 Big Block (dyno tested at 725 hp) - 2 1/8” Hooker Ceramic Competition headers - Custom aluminum driveshaft - TH400 automatic transmission with trans-brake & 3800 stall converter
- Strange 8.8 rear axle
- Richmond 3:55 gears - Detroit Speed mini-tub kit - Shortened fuel tank w/ rear pickup - Rear seat professionally shortened and upholstered
- All new glass - Be Cool radiator - Tubular control arms - Billet Specialties Street Lite wheels - Ring Brothers billet hood & trunk hinges - Stainless steel body bolts
The interior is completely done in black leather and is surprisingly comfortable. There is a partial roll cage behind the front seats for protection, but without the angled bars to make getting in and out of the car difficult. The cage is bolted in, so can be easily removed.
The slick black exterior of the car was professionally painted to avoid dust in the clear. You can't hide imperfections on a black car, so you can tell the bodywork underneath is near perfect! There are even some photos of the car while being painted so you can be sure it was done right!
This car is a mean street machine that is also very easy to drive on an everyday basis. This car is fully street-legal with all lights and signals. Car needs absolutely nothing but a new owner
