We are pleased to present this 1972 Plymouth GTX F8 Fate of the Furious Tribute. This car was originally a Satellite, but our friends at High Octane Restorations put this car on a rotisserie, media blasted it to the bare metal and transformed it into a tribute GTX from the movie Fate of the Furious with only 95 miles since the rebuild. The interior has the correct Autometer gauges, correct Sidewinder shifter, correct upholstery, correct tilt wheel steering column, correct roll bar, racing seat belts, prop Nitrous bottle, toggle switches, and even the ignition and master kill switch just like the movie car!! The exterior is a gorgeous deep TX9 black paint with the custom gold metallic stripes running on the hood down the fenders with the 440 call outs and even the gold stripes along the bottom of the rockers (the only time you see them on the movie is when the car is on its top). The GTX emblems on the sides and trunk lid compliments the black background. It even has the correct rear spoiler and front chin spoilers, hood pins and even the New York license plate. The door locks were shaved, the heater box was removed and a custom plate in its place, and the wipers removed all to match the movie car. The wheels are 18x8.5” on the front with 225 40 18's and the rear are a 20x10 with 295 30 20's from Federal. They have an aggressive tread pattern that screams performance. The part you've been wanting to know more about, the power plant is a Date coded 440 with some minor upgrades backed by a 727 automatic transmission, and a 8 3/4 sure grip positraction rear end. Even though this car might not have the 5,000 HP that the movie claimed, this one is street legal! It will still get you down the road quickly and you will be looking good doing it! The exhaust starts with a pair of headers into 2.5” collectors then to QTP electric cutouts, and on back through 40 series mufflers and ends with the correct exhaust tips. Sounds incredible! This car was rotisserie built, new floors and quarters were installed, the entire undercarriage was under coated including the trunk area before painting the black. There are safety and anti theft features incorporated into this car to keep your investment safe. There was months of research done before and during this build to make sure it was built to match the movie car. We can coordinate shipping to your location.
