*Superformance GT40P2351 is a Left Hand Drive MKI Body Style GT40 painted in 1969 Gulf Livery. This build was done to replicate the back to back LeMans Champ P1075. The most famous Race car in history.
*Chassis/Roller Specs: The Original Owner ordered his Superformance GT40 MKI with the extra wide body option and US spec Left Hand Drive. With 13" wide wheels with AVON historic hand grooved tires gives this GT40 the correct 1969 LeMans stance. It only needs the 1969 P1075 Decal set with sponsor stickers. This GT40 was ordered with 4 painted roundels with the recognizable number "6" on the nose, doors, and rear clams. P2351 also features: Raydot Side Mirrors, Leather Interior, 5 Point Racing Harnesses, Air Conditioning, Interior Power Cut-Off, and Period Correct interior Door Latches.
*Engine/Drivetrain Specs: GT40P2351 was order with a Southern Automotive 364 Custom Built Engine based upon a brand new Ford 302 Block. It was punched out to 364 cubic inches and makes over 500HP. For the period correct finish it was topped with 4 48 IDA Weber Carburetors. This engine is dressed in Gurney Westlake Valve Covers, and also features: Turkey Pan, Stewart Warner Fuel Pumps, Black Ceramic Headers leading into Stainless Megaphone exhaust outlets, Functional Rear Brake Ducts, Period Correct Rear-Mounted Oil Cooler, Gas Strut Rear Clam System, and a period correct ZF Transaxle. Engine and Drivetrain was Sourced, Sorted, and Installed by renowned GT40 guru Dennis Olthoff of Olthoff Racing.
*Every Superformance GT40 is stamped with a Continuation P Series Chassis Number along the line of the original Prototype Series GT40's of the 60's. Superformance GT40's are also eligible for the Shelby World Registry.
