You’ll need a fortune to roll off into the sunset with this ride.

With a Buy It Now price of $469,000.00 you might be right to question if this 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle restomod being offered on eBay is a good deal or a case of someone partaking of a particular substance. When it comes to auction sites like eBay, you can find all sorts of vehicles, including former SEMA Show muscle cars. That’s exactly what this seller claims to have on hand, which is partly why the asking price is so high. But is it worth a fortune?

Ebay Find: 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle

The seller proudly declares “there is no other 1969 Chevelle like this in the world.” Customized vehicles are all over, even big restomod jobs, so there has to be a lot more to justify the steep price tag. At least the listing goes on to explain the Chevrolet rides on a custom Speedtech chassis, which accommodates the extra-wide 305 tires up front and 345s in the back.

Plenty of other big tweaks have been done to this Chevrolet Chevelle muscle car, as claimed by the listing. There’s a “subtle” wide body in the rear some people might miss, plus a custom rear bumper and spoiler. Up front is a unique hood, front bumper, and chin spoiler.

As the shining star of this build, the 700-horsepower Chevrolet LSA V8 engine is impressive. There are also 15-inch Wilwood brakes, which hopefully bring this ride to a cold stop in a hurry.

Topping off this build is an interior crafted by Sid Chavers at a claimed cost of $32,000. It looks quite nice, but for that kind of coin some of you might be expecting a little more opulence. Sure, there are power seats and windows, leather upholstery, and nice-looking gauges, but the wow factor seems to be missing.

The person who listed this Chevelle claims to have receipts for over $510,000 in work performed for the transformation as well as hundreds of photos to help document the process. It seems pretty impressive, and with 27 views per hour as of the writing of this article, this car Is generating some buzz, although not a single bid has been placed.

So what do you think? Is this eBay find overpriced or an amazing gem worth every penny of the $469,000 Buy It Now price?
