People will notice this Dodge everywhere it goes, and even when it’s parked. The Mellow Yellow really grabs attention, making this vehicle perfect for slapping a business vinyl on the sides as a rolling form of advertising. Most people will barely notice the small areas of imperfection in the body or the minor rust accumulating in a few areas. The chrome also looks pretty good, especially the Ram hood ornament. Mellow Yellow also adorns the steel wheels, with regular chrome Dodge hubcaps.

As for the interior, access is provided through either cab door or the rear barn doors. An older restoration means the cab still looks good and provides more comfort than you might expect. The factory metal dash has been painted just like the exterior, with the OE gauge cluster in the middle. A custom-built wood box acts as a center console, housing a more modern stereo, cupholders, and a storage compartment. Rubber flooring is practical and easy to clean. Blue cloth seats provide good support for longer drives.

In the cargo area is oak veneered plywood, making everything feel substantial, plus black metal strips. Boxes built over the wheel wells work for makeshift seating. Smaller cabinets with a glass insert in each door are located by the rear doors. Oak herring strips help hold gray carpeting to the walls and ceiling, making the space look and feel cozy.

The engine in this truck is not what originally was included from the factory. On the cowling are mailbox stickers indicating there’s a 340 underneath, but that’s not quite accurate. Instead, the 318ci V8 originates from a donor vehicle made sometime between 1967 to 1975. It works with a 904 3-speed automatic transmission. Power disc brakes in the front and power drums in the rear help greatly with stopping performance.

Whether you want a vehicle that will stand out to advertise your business or just need something unique for hauling larger items, this Dodge Panel Truck is a unique choice. If you want purchasing details, contact Classic Auto Mall.
