1957 Ford Custom Sedan Restomod To Be Auctioned At No Reserve

It’s a two-tone beauty in Inferno Orange and Crystal White.

GAA Classic Cars will be holding their next auction from Thursday, November 7, 2019 through Saturday, November 8, 2019. The first day of the auction begins with 30 to 40 pieces of classic memorabilia followed by 190 vehicles. The following day, Friday, will see 255 vehicles being offered up for sale. Lastly, there will be 195 vehicles offered up for auction on the final day. One of the vehicles slated to cross the auction block on that Saturday is the 1957 Ford Custom Sedan restomod you see here. This particular classic (lot # ST0105) is part of the George Shinn Collection and will sell at no reserve.

This stunning example steals the spotlight with its two-tone Inferno Orange and Crystal White exterior color combination. It rides on staggered Boyd Coddington wheels wrapped in Goodyear radial tires with Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes behind them. Get a look at that Fatman custom front end with coilover and custom spindles to help set this classic apart. It’s also equipped with numerous power features including the windows, steering, and locks. This Ford Custom comes with shaved door handles and keyless entry for added appeal and convenience. Open the doors on this beauty and you’ll find a stunning custom tan Ostrich leather interior with Vintage Air air conditioning and heat, tinted glass windows, upgraded sound system, and a complete 1994-1998 Mustang dashboard and console. What’s more, it has Lincoln Mark VIII power seats and door panels to further elevate the luxury cabin.

This 1957 Ford Custom Sedan restomod doesn’t just boast good looks, but it’s got the power to boot. Under the hood, this classic is powered by a supercharged 4.6-liter Cobra Mustang SVT DOHC engine mated to a T-56 six-speed manual transmission. It has been dyno tested to deliver 412 rear-wheel horsepower and 419 pound-feet of torque. Other features include a Diabolic Sport chip on a factory Cobra computer, custom aluminum driveshaft, ceramic coated headers, a 2003-2004 Cobra SVT cluster with OEM wiring harness, and Line-X sprayed undercarriage. All of the power exits the 2.5-inch Magnaflow dual exhaust and emits a tantalizing exhaust note. This Ford Custom also rides on a four-link suspension with a 9-inch rear end.

It is not hard to see that this car received a lot of love and care to get it to the condition and stature it’s in today. Be sure to keep an eye out for the GAA Classic Cars auction this November to see who gets this stunning classic. Could it be you?
