Fully Restored 1969 Chevrolet C10 Fleetside Truck In ‘Ford Silver’

A three-owner truck that has stayed in the same family.

Classic Auto Mall is excited to announce the sale of this 1969 Chevrolet C10 Fleetside Long-Bed Truck. This is a very special, original three-owner truck that has remained in the same family throughout its entire life. The grandfather was the original owner who then gave the car to his grandson. The father, who was the latest owner, did a total restoration of the C10 in 2012. It’s clear to see that he did a beautiful job; this is an excellent example of the highly sought-after, old-school truck with an attractive color combination to boot.

For those who may not be familiar, “fleetside” refers to the “standard” pickup bed style. The truck bed exterior is flat or straight, while the wheel well arches are contained within the bed. Essentially, the rear wheels of the truck are located within the truck bed. These are available in either short- or long-box versions, with the latter offering much more cargo capacity. The C10 example you see here is the fleetside long-bed truck.

This 1969 Chevrolet C10 is a former work truck for a woodworker, and is still a worker to this day. Nevertheless, it’s got beautiful straight steel panels with nice gaps. The exterior is covered in a silver YN 1994 Ford truck paint color. The front sports an all-correct grille that sits beneath a blue Chevy bowtie and near-perfect hood. Badging throughout this C10 is in great chrome shape as well. At the rear, the stunning white oak bed is nicely contrasted with clean, shiny bed mountings between the oak. The culmination of this color combination is nothing short of genius. A single row of fabricated oak body wood is mounted to the top of the bed and can be removed at your discretion. The blackwall tires with hub caps and standard Chevrolet covers are really in tune with the truck’s “worker bee” attitude.

If you thought the outside was a stunner, you should see the inside of this ’69 C10. The original interior sports a stunning turquoise hue that is sprayed across the standard dash and stamped door panels. The hefty black armrest and chromed out cranks and handles are a nice trade-off to the blueish-green cabin. A beautifully restored front bench in green adds to the color scheme and stretches from one door panel to the other. It seats four people comfortably–but there are only two seatbelts. Rubber floor mats can be found below the bench and are in a very clean condition. The turquoise-painted metal ceiling houses two green sun visors and a rear cabin light.

This engine bay of this 1969 Chevy C10 is in immaculate condition and is show-ready. The engine restoration features a numbers-matching 307 cubic-inch V8 engine that is mated to the original Saginaw manual transmission topped with a two-barrel carburetor. Everything is correct and well restored in a stunning orange and black color combo with supple rubber tubes and belts, and no corrosion! Even the solid undercarriage is in great condition. A 12-bolt rear and newly restored drum brakes can also be found underneath the truck.
