When people talk about the larger and more renown auctions, New York doesn’t always make it into the conversation. That is a bit ironic, since it’s home to one of the greatest concentrations of wealth and supercars in the world. This fall, Bradford Rand and his teams at RAND Luxury & EXPO International are planning to put New York back on the map when it comes to auctions.
RAND Luxury will be holding an auction of collectible motorcars from a wide range of automakers, including Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin, and more. The event is set to take place on October 12, 2019 at the Nassau County Museum of Art, located in the picturesque village of Roslyn, New York. A portion of the proceeds from New York’s Premiere Motorcar Auction will benefit the museum, which sits on more than 140 beautiful acres on the beautiful “Gold Coast” of Long Island. Each registered bidder will also automatically receive complimentary memberships to the Museum of Art, which was once home to the legendary Frick family.
There will be a luxury brunch and a highly curated car concours at the start of the event, which will lead into the 4pm auction. RAND Luxury has an impressive list of sponsors for the occasion that will be inviting their top automotive clientele from across the Northeast to this incredible event. That list includes Aston Martin & McLaren of Long Island, Ferrari/Maserati of Long Island, Manhattan Motorcars, Sports Car Market, Hemmings, Porsche Club of America, and Putnam Leasing & Intercity Lines.
As of this writing, the auction’s 70 expected lots have been made public with many more on the way. The lots include something for everyone, like a 1974 Ferrari Dino GTS, Lamborghini Jalpa, Porsche 911 Turbo, Fisker Karma Signature Edition, Tesla Roadster, Packard Super Eight Coupe Roadster, Shelby Series 1, Pantera GT5-S, and a BMW Z8. The RAND Luxury Motorcar Auction is still accepting consignment applications for high-quality, unique vehicles. Lots are limited to this one-day-only event, so contact Consign@RandLuxury.com if you or someone you know is interested in selling a collector car.
This is one event you won’t want to miss. What better way to spend a beautiful fall day than at an auction on Long Island’s breathtaking Gold Coast. More details can be found at www.randluxury.com.
