A complete restoration has ensured everything on this Triumph looks amazing and works just as it was designed. The Astral Red factory paint job on the fuel tank and fenders is in great condition, complete with the original silver accents and gold pinstriping where the two colors meet. The saddle is free of cracks, tears, and other damage. Brightwork on exhaust, grab handle, handlebars, etc. shines up nicely, making for a presentation you can be proud of at a show as well as cruising around town. The twin Smiths gauges work, so you get full functionality as well as beauty of out this machine.

Many riders agree that the 1970 120R Bonneville handles better, accelerates with greater strength, and stops quicker than its predecessors. It’s a blast to take out on the road and was considered a performance pinnacle in the motorcycle world back during its time. A 649cc parallel-twin four-stroke engine sits compact and low in the chassis, while supplying a peak 49-horsepower. Adding to the slender nature of this bike is the 2.5-gallon fuel tank. This Triumph can hit a top speed of 109 mph

For the 1970 model year, Triumph hit its sales peak in the United States, fueled by some big race victories. Among the few changes made to the Bonneville for 1970 was a new crankcase and breather tube, guarding against oil leaks, plus a bolt-on front engine plate for easier maintenance. This was the final year that classic Bonneville styling was used, making this bike all the more desirable for collectors and Triumph fans.
