Set The World Ablaze In This 1991 GMC Syclone

This is one seriously fast truck.

Blow minds and the competition away with this beautiful 1991 GMC Syclone. This little pickup is a larger-than-life legend. Back in the early ‘90s it was prowling the streets and drag strips, gobbling up lesser vehicles with ruthless brutality. Now, you have the opportunity to impress fellow gearheads and smoke tires like a champ with this hot ride generously offered by GR Auto Gallery.

The factory appearance has been lovingly preserved on this classic pickup, including the original badges, front spoilt, side skirts, and bed tonneau. The factory black grille, headlight surrounds, and other details are enhanced by aftermarket black alloy wheels. The original polished alloy wheels come with the truck, so you can return it to a complete stock look in a flash.

Lurking under the hood is a hard-hitting turbocharged 4.3-liter V6 engine, which connects to a 4-speed automatic transmission. The factory Garrett water/air intercooler is still intact, helping to produce 280-horsepower and 350 lb.-ft. of torque. Power front disc brakes help keep everything under control, along with factory power steering. Four-wheel drive also adds as a check on all that power in such a lightweight vehicle.

As a more modern classic, the GMC Syclone came with quite a few conveniences installed on the factory line. They include air conditioning, power windows, power locks, and a cabin heater. Furthermore, the owner kept maintenance receipts and the original window sticker, making this ride a time capsule.

The fact Car and Driver raced a Syclone against a Ferrari 348 and the GMC won is something people still talk about today. GMC made the Syclone for only the 1991 and 1992 model years, with production capped at just 3,000 units. Many have not survived, making this truck that much rarer and more valuable. It’s not like General Motors will ok making reproductions of this classic ride, plus its reputation is one that will not easily be forgotten, adding further to the future collectability of the pickup.
